This is an exceptional find in the heart of the East village. The place is fabulous and I would highly recommend. I stayed for an extended stay 3+ months as I moved to NYC. I chose this place over corporate housing as wanted somewhere that felt a little more homely and had some of the creature comforts I am used to. The place is great and attention to detail on everything is a welcomed touch with an extended stay. I had a lot of the home comforts I am used to and everything in the place is high quality and it is a very stylish environment. The team were truly exceptional in terms of service and response time . Everything was very professional and any questions or concerns were dealt with in an incredibly speedy way. I would highly recommend a stay here and as a result I will definitely be looking at potentially staying in other of their properties.

Our stay was absolutely fabulous! The house is gorgeous, clean and stylishly decorated. It is fully equipped with all the kitchen utensils you could need, plenty of towels, robes and even hats and sunscreen to use by the pool. They've thought of everything and make the stay not only effortless but very enjoyable. Highly, highly recommend!

What a beautiful home! Tastefully modern but very much mid-century, this house is relaxing, luxurious and fun. It's newly renovated with an expert's touch from the furnishings to fixtures to art - all in a fabulous MCM vibe. The only thing from the 80s is the record collection - and I say that in a good way! We had a wonderful time here - very convenient to main drag Palm Springs, easy to find, and Lee B. was a knowledgeable and gracious manager. Only regret was the cold weather - we didn't get a chance to enjoy the pool and spa. We'll have to return in the summer for another chance.

Treated the kids and grand-kids to Thanksgiving at this lovely home. Classic PS home designed around an open central courtyard; with ample space and natural light. The home has a superb blend of old world charm, a well equipped kitchen, outdoor entertaining space and modern electronic conveniences (flatscreens, Sonos, Alexis & more). The hosts have clearly devoted careful thought to the comfort and convenience of their guests.

Great apartment in the heart of east village. The place itself is very clean and tastefully decorated (I loved the style). All the furniture, wall art and kitchen appliances are of high quality. The apartment has high ceilings and separate aircon in the living area as well as the bedroom. It also has a cute balcony which can comfortably sit three people - great place to enjoy a drink on a warm evening. The hosts were super responsive and quickly addressed any issues or queries. The access is gained through a phone app, but you are also met by Michael who will give you a physical key. The paperwork was a bit lengthy, but worth it for the quality of stay you are getting. Lots of nice places to eat around the area (try 'Post'for breakfast). Would stay again.

This is a beautiful mid-century home with all the amenities you could ever ask for. Great pool, well-stocked kitchen, interesting books to peruse, wonderful sound system, and comfortable beds in every room. The open beam design is beautiful, with large glass windows in the back showcasing the pool and the mountains. The location is close to downtown and only a couple blocks from a main drag, yet set back far enough in a neighborhood to be very quiet and private. In 5-10 minutes you can drive downtown (20-30 minute walk) or in a couple minutes you can access great hiking (go to the west end of Ramon Road for a steep hike with a beautiful view of the area). You won't be disappointed!

The kitchen was well stocked so we ate a number of meals there between dining out at amazing restaurants within walking distance! Great Location. The apartment is in the heart of La Recoleta. We were in walking distance (6 blocks) to La Recoleta cemetery and 2 blocks from Santa Fe Avenue for shopping and great restaurants. A laundromat was just across the street. A secure money exchange (casa de cambio) was about one block away. Several grocery stores were just minutes away to purchase food for breakfast and snacks. The apartment is in a very safe area and it was nicely furnished. More than enough room for the two of us. We hope to return to Argentina next year and plan on staying at the apartment. A great bottle of Argentinian Malbec awaited us on the dining room table! Gracias, Reuben

My wife and I found the apartment was quite spacious & comfortable for our needs, being very well located within the up market suburb of Recoleta. Located on the ground floor of a secure building, it is close to public transport, restaurants, cafes and grocery shops. The provided facilities were as advertised, and although there is no washing machine there are a number of laundromats close by. The internet occasionaly dropped out but on the main the service level was quite acceptable. During our 6 week stay all requests regarding the property facilities/services were promptly attended to by Diego, the onsite property manager. Beware the upstairs area (2nd bedroom + study) has quite low ceilings and not really suitable if you are taller than 180cms, otherwise it is quite OK for sleeping 2 adults/children Overall we really enjoyed our stay in this apartment, and would certainly consider re-letting when we next visit Buenos Aires. Our only real issue was the high glass panel walls that floods the apartment with light. We would recommend that on the ground floor some light blocking material (blinds/curtains) be installed to cover the glass panel walls when required in order to block the light coming into the main bedroom when sleeping and to stop the strong hot sunlight that enters the Lounge entartainment area during the early afternoon - refer picture of lounge area. During our stay the Owner agreed for Diego to tape the offending glass panels with cardboard, thereby achieving the desired effect. We were advised previous guests had same issues and were given same solution - however we believe a more permanent solution would be more acceptable for future guests.

Management with Mayank was incredible - swift, prompt and professional at all times. One thing to expect from renting with Tim and Reuben - be ready to receive long contracts and lease agreements - very extensive. However, I respect such professionalism and dedication. Joseph Leopold Eichler design should say it all, this house is the real deal. Beautiful outdoor space in the center of the entire house. splashed with true mid century furnishings everywhere. We had a great time staying at this wonderful apartment in NYC's East Village. The apartment was clean, secure and exactly as described in it's VRBO listing. The owner provided detailed service every step of the way and made our stay very convenient. Staying in the East Village allowed us to explore the charm of the neighborhood as well as easy access to Brooklyn, SoHo shopping and a short cab ride to Times Square. In four days we walked the Brooklyn Bridge, saw a Broadway play and took in a baseball game. There are endless restaurant options nearby and hundreds of unique stores and sites to take in. We had a wonderful stay in this apartment that felt like a home away from home.

The apartment is accurately represented in photos: clean, immaculate, newly furnished with great appliances. It's quiet especially compared to other places in the city. Comfortable and furniture (couch, bed). And the interior decorating is quite nice IMHO. Good taste gents! Apartment and building are safe and secure electronic locking doors. Elevator is a nice touch (no walkup with luggage or groceries). Reuben and his group are meticulous and the operation runs like a Swiss watch. Very impressive and reassuring. And they are accessible and friendly. My security deposit was promptly and completely refunded. LOCATION: there is a grocery store catty-corner down the block, cafe across the street, etc. The Alphabet City area is changing for the better. Walk west 1 block you will find more ethnic eateries, bars, and then more sales infrastructure until you eventually find yourself in the East Village and Soho (20 minute walk?). The apartment is about a 10 minute walk to the nearest subway stops (Bleeker Street or Astor Place). This was fine with us but if it's a problem or raining you can taken an Uber for couple of bucks to the subway stop. If were to stay in southeast Manhattan again, I certainly would consider staying here . Highly recommended. And fairly priced, perhaps an understatement.

This was the perfect little retreat for me in the city. The apartment was immaculate, well equipped and remarkably quiet - and exactly as portrayed in the photos (which is not always the case). There are many great restaurants and bars close by and the apartment, though not super close to the subway, is very convenient to the FDR (highway on the east side), which is helpful if you are taking a taxi or Uber up to mid-town, the theater district and other points north - or down to the Financial District (a five minute ride). Of course, the subway is still within a few blocks as well and definitely walkable. Another thing that made this rental - and the renting experience - so nice was the host. Reuben was wonderful before and during the rental - always available to answer questions or assist in any way. I highly recommend this apartment.

I stayed at Reuben's place for a month as a I was moving from LA to NYC and I couldn't have had a better experience. From the very start of our correspondence, he was straight forward, responsive and available if I had any questions at all. When I arrived at the apartment, a good friend of his who lives in the city met me, helped carry my bags up stairs and showed me around and how to work everything. The apartment looks exactly like the photos - I was pleasantly surprised at how well kept the building is and how well it's furnished. It's a beautiful apartment and everything about it made me feel super comfortable during my stay. It's in the perfect location for so many good bars and restaurants - very easy to hop around and central to everything I wanted to do. Now that I live in the city, I can't imagine I'll have a reason to go back, but I would a million times over. I'll be recommending this place to any friends that are coming to visit. I feel very fortunate to have had this place to welcome me to NYC. You will not be disappointed.

This unit was very nice there were only two of us but this place easily sleeps at least six. All the amenities were nice including the air conditioning in all the rooms. The living room unit was noisy. It was centrally located to the Recoleta (5 blocks) alot of shopping and eating places. The wifi is a little weak - dont plan on having more than 3 wifi devices on at the same time. Diego the building super was great helped alot. Best part is when the city shuts the electricity, the unit is in the first floor, so no elevator problems - in Bs As thats important.

The apartment is situated on a central street in Recoleta, and is within easy walking distance of shops, cafes and the Subway (SUBTE) station. The building is typical of the area, tidy and well maintained. Prior to our arrival, we had received instructions on how to enter the building, operate the WiFi and other electronic devices plus were advised that the Building Manager (Diego) would meet us when we arrived. Diego was there on schedule and gave us an introductory tour of the apartment. During our stay, Reuben sent us a series of videos with further information on using the apartment. The interior is nicely furnished and was very comfortable for our 5 day stay. We cooked a few meals in the well stocked (with utensils) kitchen and found everything easily. The TV setup is internet based and has Netflix plus Hulu and other apps for TV. We watched a few Netflix movies successfully, but found the TV options to be variable probably due to a slow Internet connection. However it worked well enough for us as we didn't go to Buenos Aires to watch TV. Public transport, plus the odd taxis, worked fine for us and the local Subway station (10 mins walk) provided a rapid and easy access to Downtown areas. Overall I can recommend this apartment as a good value in a nice area close to all the BA action.

It has all the amenities I needed to stay comfy after walking around the city all day. The location is very convenient for anyone planning to explore the city center on foot, subway, or taxi. We had a great time in this brand new apartment filled with high-quality features. The bed was huge and comfortable. The rainfall showerhead was a dream. The robot coffeemaker was incredibly cool. And the smartphone entry made access smooth and easy. On our hot weekend the A/C was simple and effective. For Manhattan, it's a relatively long walk to the subway (still <15min), but that probably made the neighborhood a little quieter and more authentic. We didn't have to go more than a couple blocks in any direction for great brunch, bars, and dinner. The place exceeded our expectations and we hope to visit again someday.

Reuben has done such a nice job with this apartment. When we stayed there, the entire apartment was newly renovated, and every aspect of it was brand new. Reuben was very thoughtful with the way he furnished the place, including the way he outfitted the kitchen. After our month-long stay, I will miss the coffee machine in particular! I was also impressed with the keyless entry and "smart tv" features of the apartment; as a tech-forward person myself, I felt right at home. The apartment was huge by New York standards, and very comfortable. Although the block immediately surrounding the apartment is a little bit sketchy because there is some low-income housing nearby, there is a dizzying array of great wine bars and restaurants just 1-2 blocks north on Avenue C. And even on our block, I still felt comfortable walking to and from the apartment late at night, and also using the citibike station which is just outside the apartment. I can't recommend Reuben's apartment enough. At every point during our stay, he was easy to get ahold of, and was always going out of his way to help us in any way he could. At one point the HVAC system was down for a routine repair, which meant the AC wasn't working in the apartment for 4-5 days. Reuben offered to buy a fan for our apartment if we needed it (we didn't), and even returned some money with our security deposit to make up for the inconvenience. Thanks for everything, Reuben. We'd certainly love to stay with you again.

We would go back in a second! The apartment is exactly as advertised. Decorated well, plenty of room, easy to live in. The location is great. We were within walking distance of many sites, including the prettiest parks, and it was easy to get a taxi, if needed. The neighborhood markets, banks, and restaurants were all friendly, close, affordable, and easy to use. The prices in the neighborhood were so much less than in tourist areas and Palermo. We would recommend trying the wonderful places within walking distance. We went with our12 and 14 year old daughters and they each had space to spread out in the upstairs area. Lastly, we had one minor concern while visiting, and it was fixed immediately. Diego, who takes care of the building, was always helpful and friendly. The building is very safe, and we never felt concerned. Our security deposit was timely refunded. I would recommend this apartment for every traveler!

Very nice apartment and is perfect during your stay in the beautiful city of Buenos Aires. The apartment is walking distance to anything you might need from shops, restaurants, coffee shops and even a Starbucks (if you need to). The apartment was clean and ready to use when we checked in with all the modern amenities. We did a lot of walking and did catch a cab when we needed which was very easy to do. Their are many grocery stores within walking distance from small ones to even the larger ones for whatever you might need. We also found a good place to eat just down the block Los Pinos a very good neighborhood restaurant with very good food and the staff was excited to speak English to our group even though we all spoke Spanish. Bake shops everywhere and it was hard to stay away but we did manage to stop in a few times to enjoy. The apartment has everything you might need but we did experience a slight problem with the wifi but after contacting Rueben it was quickly fixed and no problems after that. The Porter onsite was very helpful and always around if we needed him but his hours are pretty set so you might want to clarify what those are when you arrive. I would agree their is a lot of paper work but I must say that Rueben or his staff provide the best customer service and take pride in making sure all your questions are answered timely. We did use the laundry up the street and they provided a great service as well. Very safe neighborhood and we never hesitated to walk around both during the day and at night. Banks and ATM's are a few blocks away so plan accordingly. We do plan on returning to BA in the future and will look into staying here again! Enjoy!

This ground floor apartment is located in the heart of Recoleta, very close to all the sights, including the famous cemetery. It is surrounded by shops where you can find fruit, cheese, wine and beer, as well great little coffee shops and fabulous restaurants. The subte (subway) is an easy 10 min walk away, and from there you can easily navigate all around Buenos Airies. The apartment is safe and secure and located on a quiet street. Being at the back of the building, it is very quiet with little ambient noise from the street or other residents. It is well laid out and very comfortable. There is a beautiful inner courtyard that let's in natural light and is lovely to look out on. Rueben was very helpful and responsive. There is a lot of paper work required ahead of time, which I guess is there to protect us as much as him, but was much more than we needed anywhere else. Our only small complaint is the patio had too much pigeon poop to be able to enjoy it as we would have liked to. Despite that I'd highly recommend this quiet gem.

Our flight to BA was fifteen hours and we arrived at the apartment within five minutes of our arranged checkin time. Cris was waiting on the sidewalk to greet us- this level of organization and service was typical of our entire experience with this rental!! At no time before during or after our stay did we feel anything than 100% satisfied with the attention to detail and the level of service. The apartment is well appointed, bright and supplied with all the necessary equipment, bedding etc. for a completely self catered stay, should one wish to go that way. Location is perfect,on a quiet street, within easy distance of several bakeries, grocery stores and of course wine purveyors. Restaurants are close by, we found Los Pinos a great bet.The apartment is in a well established building and noise is not a problem.Throughout our stay communication with the rental team was only an email or phone call away. The response time was immediate and they were always extremely helpful. If there was one negative,it was that the floors, kitchen and bathrooms needed a 'good scrubbing'; the owners were made aware of this and we have absolute confidence that there will be an improvement in this area - one get's the impression that the organization does what it says and genuinely appreciates and reacts to feedback. You would do well to seriously consider this rental. Ideal for four adults or a family of four. The courtyard in the back of the apartment is very secure and so is ideal for children/adults to hang out.

My husband and I recently returned from a 10 night stay in Buenos Aires at Reuben and Tim's apartment. Located on a quiet street in one of the safest and most central locations in the city, this apartment was absolutely perfect for us. The building itself maintains its old world charm, but at the same time the apartment offers a contemporary feel. The neighborhood is full of locally owned shops, cafes and excellent restaurants, and getting a cab is very easy. The apartment itself is extremely light and airy, with what must be 14 foot ceilings, 2 bathrooms and two small seperate lofts accessible by spiral staircases which could easily accomodate some children. We loved using the extra spaces to curl up for a nap. Our favorite part of the apartment is the private garden in the back, with tall palms and a small fountain. This really allowed the outside in. It is quite hot in BsAs in February and the airconditioning functions perfectly. Although not living in the building, the property manager is a quick text away and very, very responsive to any needs or questions we had. The owners are highly detail oriented as well and provided us with an extensive list of recommendations and instructions. I'd also like to recommend Marcelo Mansilla who is a professional guide, and happens to live in the building. We spend two days with Marcelo who gave us a fantastic overview of the city's history, architecture and political climate. I would recommend this property to all.

The condo was very clean and bright. I spent hours on VRBO and there were several other places at the same price point that were not even close to as nice as this property was. Jeff, the property manager, was exceptionally fantastic and helped us with directions and recommendations. I would certainly rent this property again if I return to Buenos Aires.

I traveled with wife and two young kids to visit family and we were looking for place with a great location that would allow us to have a nice and quiet breakfast, w/o the need to coordinate and rush altogether to a hotel lobby. We also looked to have downtime between sightseeing and dinner (anything before 9:00pm would be too early for local standards). The apartment worked perfectly...no issues whatsoever. The kids love their separate space upstairs and we enjoyed the privacy of the large master bedroom. The apartment is perfectly located and within 3 to 4 blocks we got the massive public transportation (bus and metro) the city offers. The owners had thought on every little detailed; from the American and Argentine phone lines, to multiple TVs, to a well stocked kitchen. The decoration of the place is nicely done and place was very clean. I noticed that some reviews comment on the fact that there is no laundry on the apartment; don't worry, literally across the street there is a laundry mat where we dropped our stuff on the morning and it was nicely cleaned and folded by the evening. The one thing that I'd like to see for next time (I'm definitely coming back) are blinds/curtains on the bedroom...I want to sleep in when on vacation.

My husband, our daughter (who was studying with NYU in Buenos Aires) and I stayed in this lovely apartment for nearly a week this past November. The photos are accurate; the apartment was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable and the towels, plush. Our daughter slept upstairs and, she, too, found the bed hard to leave. The kitchen was very well equipped. And the outdoor space was a true "plus."The only small problem was the inability for two people to be on the internet at the same time and the absence of the "doorman." Regardless of this latter fact, we felt, and were, perfectly safe. Reuben was a joy to work with. This is one terrific apartment in a terrific location. We highly recommend it!

My wife and I just returned from a lovely week in Buenos Aires. This is the place you want and in the neighborhood in which you should stay. The pictures are extremely accurate regarding the lovely ammenties and condition of the apartment. EVERYTHING was as promised. The owner is crystal clear and extremely responsive to any and all questions both prior to the rental, during and after. I have rented apartments all over the World and I can testity that the owner made this rental process transparent and seemless. The neighborhood is perfectly situated and very safe. Great for walking to other sites and a cab comes up the street in front of the building practically every minute. The next time we return to Buenos Aires, we will definitely be renting this apartment.

What a great find this apartment was. Booking was so easy and hassle free. The apartment is modern and spacious. In a great location, so close to shops, laundry right across the street and taxis always coming down the street. Safe, secure and hassle free. Would recommend this apartment and will stay here again.

This property is so much fun! We were surprised at how easy it was to walk to Recoleta Cemetery, to the plaza for outdoor cafes and bars. There is a nice little grocery store about a 1/2 block away with great fresh produce. The apartment itself is well stocked, comfortable, and a quiet getaway after a busy day sightseeing. I would recommend this property highly.

We spent hours looking at listings and talking with owners before making our choice and the effort paid off. The apartment was as described, very clean, in an excellent location. Any questions, concerns or problems were easily resolved as there is a property management company looking after the apartment, a resident building caretaker and the owners were a phone call away. This is not your typical scenario when renting in South America and we were appreciative of the support. The apartment is located at the back of the building so there was no street noise. The location allows you to walk to most of the main attractions and the subway station is less than 5 minutes walking. There are two grocery stores nearby, several bakeries, a laundry across the street and numerous restaurants. Everything we needed was very handy. The apartment accomodated our family of five adults comfortably. I would stay there again if I returned to Buenos Aires and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

After many weeks of searching VRBO, my husband and I finally agreed on renting this apartment. We stayed here with another couple for a week. After arriving, we all knew we had made the right decision. The apartment is very clean and well set up with anything you’d need during a stay. It is very close walking distance to MANY wonderful shops, restaurants, sights and the subway. We were greeted by the maintenance/door man who became our new friend. He couldn't speak English, but we learned to communicate anyway. After we settled in, the property manager Sue came to greet us and showed us all the apartment amenities. She's a lovely lady and speaks very good English. The bedrooms are located on the first and second floor. Both bathrooms are on the first floor, so the user of the second bedroom must come downstairs to use it. The apartment has a back patio, which is nice for sitting and sipping a glass of wine. The kitchen is compact, but functional. The only necessity missing is a clothes washer/dryer, but a laundry is across the street. Rueben, the owner, was excellent to work with in booking our week and followed up with us after we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. There is a phone in the apartment to call him, if a problem arises. Our deposit was returned within a few days of leaving Buenos Aires. If you’re looking for a 2 bdr private apartment in a nice area of Buenos Aires, this is the right place to stay.

Four of us stayed here during the first two weeks of April. It's an excellent alternative to a hotel. The furnishings and design are most pleasant. The owners have engaged an Argentinian woman named Sue to help with any detail of your stay. She speaks perfect English and was a great help to us. I highly recommend this apartment.

We, a family of four, decided to spend 4 nights in Buenos Aires, including New Years Eve, as part of our "get away from the US winter" vacation. We decided to use a vacation rental instead of a hotel in BA. This was a wise choice. It gave us much more space than the hotel rooms we stayed in at other places. This apartment is nice. It is in a safe, heart of the city location. Many attractions are walking distance as are facilities (restaurants, parks, grocery stores, money changers, coffee shops, laundromats, pharmacy etc). The process of entering into the contract, making payments, getting back the security deposit etc. are all easy and seamless. Overall a seamless 5 Star experience.
